For example, there is a big difference in treatment techniques for the German roach verses the smoky brown roach and you want to know if you have an insect that can be mistaken for a termite or if you really have termites.At the Pest Shop, we offer free insect identification. Just bring the pest to the store. The best way to preserve them is to place them in a jar of rubbing alcohol. Never use scotch tape because it is impossible to identify the specimen. In most cases, we will be able to identify your pest with the help of our trusty 30X stereoscope.
